This highly interactive session will examine instructional strategies that invite all students to engage in joyful math discourse.  While a rich and intriguing task may initially set the stage for discourse, what are some other key factors and moments involved in compelling ongoing discourse?  Participants will experience and examine the many invitations to discourse that take place throughout a learning experience – and learn how to leverage those moments to compel deep, rich, and joyful math experiences.
